Front Brake Caliper Parts
1 – piston; 2 – dust cap; 3 – sealing ring; 4 – support with cylinders; 5 – connecting pipe of brake cylinders; 6 – air release nipple; 7 – brake shoe pressure spring; 8 – brake shoe mounting pins; 9 – cotter pins; 10 – springs; 11 – brake pads
1. Disconnect pipe 5 and remove dust caps 2 from the cylinders.
2. Then, by forcing a stream of compressed air through the brake fluid inlet, push pistons 1 out of the cylinders on caliper 4 and remove sealing rings 3 from the cylinders.
3. Assemble the front brake in the reverse order of disassembly.
4. Lubricate the sealing rings, pistons and cylinder bore with brake fluid during assembly.
5. After installation, restore the brake fluid level and bleed the brake hydraulic system.
