Rear wheel brake
1 – wheel cylinder; 2 – the lever of a manual drive of pads; 3 – block of a brake; 4 – a cup and a basic rack of pads; 5 – a cable of a drive of a lay brake with a cover; 6 - lower coupling spring; 7 - friction lining; 8 - an eccentric for adjusting the gap between the block and the drum; 9 - spacer bar; 10 - upper coupling spring
1. Raise the rear of the car and remove the wheel. Take measures to prevent leakage of fluid from the tank.
2. Remove the brake drum by unscrewing the mounting bolts 1. Insert these bolts into the technological holes 2 and tighten until the drum separates.
3. Disconnect from lever 2 (see fig. Rear wheel brake) hand drive shoe end of cable 5.
4. Install tool A.72236 on the wheel cylinder to fix the pistons in the cylinder.
5. Disconnect the upper 10 and lower 6 coupling springs.
6. After turning the cups of the support legs, remove them together with the racks, springs and lower cups; remove the pads and spacer bar 9.
7. Remove the cotter pin, press the finger and remove the lever 2.
8. Disconnect the brake fluid supply pipe from the wheel cylinder and plug the inlets of the cylinder and pipe.
9. Remove the wheel cylinder and tool A.72236.
10. When replacing the brake shield, remove the axle shaft as indicated in subsection 7.4.6.1, and disconnect the parking brake cable by unscrewing the two bolts securing the brake shield.
