Removal and installation
Disconnect the flexible hoses from the master cylinder and close the openings of the hoses and fittings on the cylinder to prevent fluid from leaking from the tank and dust and dirt from entering the cylinder.
Disconnect the pipes from the master cylinder that drain fluid to the wheel cylinders of the front and rear brake mechanisms, and remove the cylinder.
Install the master cylinder in the reverse order. After installing the cylinder, bleed the brake hydraulic system to remove air from it.
Disassembly and assembly
Remove the fittings with sealing gaskets (if necessary) and the protective cap, unscrew the mounting screws 6 and remove all parts from the cylinder.
The cylinder is assembled in the reverse order, lubricating the parts with brake fluid.
Checking the details
Before assembly, all parts are washed with isopropyl alcohol or brake fluid, dried with a stream of compressed air and wiped with a rag, preventing their contact with mineral oils, kerosene or diesel fuel, which cause swelling of the sealing rings. The time for washing the sealing rings in isopropyl alcohol is no more than 20 seconds, followed by blowing with compressed air.

The cylinder mirror and the working surface of the pistons must be completely clean, without rust, scratches or other defects.
When disassembling the cylinder, replace the sealing rings with new ones, even if they appear to be in good condition. Check the condition of the protective cap and, if damaged, replace it.
The elasticity of the piston spring is checked. The length of the spring in a free state should be 57.5 mm, under a load of 3.5-4.2 kgf - 36 mm and under a load of 6.35-7.35 kgf - 21 mm.
