Basic data for checking the tension spring
The working surface of the tension roller must be smooth, without nicks and burrs. The ball bearing of the tension roller must rotate smoothly, without jamming.
The elasticity of the tension spring must be within the limits shown in the figure.
If the spring is less elastic, replace it.
