Noise, knocking from the front wheel when the car is moving
This malfunction most often occurs when the hinge parts wear out due to damage to the protective covers. The malfunction is eliminated by replacing the worn or damaged hinges only at a service station.
Grease leak
Occurs when the protective covers of the hinges are damaged or torn. It is eliminated by replacing the grease and protective covers if the malfunction is detected before knocking and noise occurs. Replace the protective covers and grease only at a service station, since these operations require high qualifications of the performer, the use of a special puller to remove the wheel drive and install a new retaining ring 11 (see figure 68) of the axle gear when installing the drive in place.
