Ignition coil (VAZ-21099)

Before you begin: disconnect the wire from the "–" terminal of the battery.



1. Disconnect the high-voltage wire from the ignition coil.



2. Unscrew the two nuts securing the coil bracket (the second nut is located under the battery platform).



3. Loosen the two mounting nuts and disconnect the wires from the low-voltage terminals of the coil.





4. Remove the coil from the bracket.



5. If necessary, unscrew the nut and remove the bracket from the coil.

6. The ignition coil is installed in the reverse order of removal.
