Ignition coil — testing on the bench (VAZ-21051)

1. Check the winding resistance and insulation resistance.

2. The resistance of the primary winding at 200°C should be 3.07–3.5 Ohms, and the secondary winding 5500–9200 Ohms. The insulation resistance to ground should be at least 50 Ohms.

3. For ignition coil 27.3705, used in a contactless ignition system, the resistance of the primary winding at 250°C should be (0.45±0.05) Ohm, and the secondary winding (5±0.5) kOhm.

4. The dry coil 3122.3705 has a closed magnetic circuit, also used in a contactless ignition system.
