1. If the car has been parked for more than one night, pump gasoline into the carburetor using the manual fuel pump lever.
2. Unfortunately, the capacity of the battery decreases in severe frost, and the energy consumption for turning the engine crankshaft with thickened oil is much higher. To extend the life of the battery, before turning on the starter, turn on the high beam headlights for 30-60 seconds using the steering column switch in the light signaling mode. In this case, due to the passage of a small current in the battery, chemical processes begin and its ability to give off energy increases significantly.
3. Without pulling out the carburetor choke control handle, you can turn the engine with the starter for 2-3 seconds to dilute the oil a little. Then, after waiting 10-15 seconds, pull out the choke control handle completely and start using the usual procedure (see subsection 5.1.1.).
4. If the engine does not start on the first attempt (the starter worked for 5-10 seconds), the second attempt can be made no earlier than 30 seconds later. If the engine does not start on the third attempt, contact a car service center.
