Front Wheel Drive — Design Description (VAZ-21099)

Front wheel drive: 1 - shaft; 2 - outer constant velocity joint (CV joint); 3 - inner constant velocity joint (CV joint)

Caution! When the front wheel drive is removed, do not load the front suspension under any circumstances (put the car on its front wheels and roll it). This will cause the hub bearings to fail.
