
2. Use a screwdriver to pry up and remove the hub nut protective cap.

3. Unscrew the hub nut, having first unlocked it.
When unscrewing the hub nut, the car must be on the ground!
4. Raise and support the front of the vehicle. Remove the bolts and remove the wheel.
Loosen and tighten the wheel mounting bolts only with the vehicle on the ground. The tightening torque of the bolts is 65-95 N·m (6.5-9.5 kgf·m).

5. Use a screwdriver to remove the thrust washer.

6. Remove the cotter pin from the nut securing the ball joint of the steering rod to the steering arm.

7. Loosen the nut securing the ball joint of the steering rod.

8. Using a puller, press the ball joint pin of the steering rod out of the steering column pivot arm.

9. Remove the two bolts and disconnect the ball joint of the front suspension arm from the steering knuckle.

10. Pull the steering knuckle with the strut...

11....and remove the splined outer joint shank from the hub.

12. Using a pry bar, push the inner CV joint tail out of the gearbox (see note 1).

Note 1: If you plan to remove both drives, after removing one of the drives, insert a technological plug into the gearbox in its place (for example, an old inner CV joint) and only then remove the second drive. Otherwise, the differential axle gears will shift and it will be impossible to insert the CV joints during assembly.

13. Remove the drive shaft.

14. To replace the inner joint seal (see note 2) remove it from the gearbox housing using a screwdriver and press in the new seal until it stops with the working edge inside the gearbox.
Note 2. If during operation traces of oil leakage are noticed at the points where the front wheel drives are connected to the gearbox, the inner joint seals must be replaced.
