Installing a child restraint system (VAZ-2110)

Under the child restraint system (retention system) means a set of elements that may include a set of straps or flexible elements with buckles, adjustment and fastening devices and, in some cases, an additional device, such as a baby cot, a removable child seat, an additional seat and/or an impact shield that can be attached to the body of a motor vehicle. This device is designed in such a way that in the event of a collision or sudden braking of the vehicle, the risk of injury to the child in this device is reduced by limiting the mobility of his or her body.

Warning! Never hold a child on your lap in a moving vehicle!

Your vehicle uses the standard adult seat belts to secure the child restraint system.

Safe placement of children in a car is only possible with the use of certified child restraint systems.

When installing a child restraint system in your vehicle, please refer to the installation diagram supplied with it.

For the safety of the child, it is advisable to place the child restraint system in the rear seat.

Warning! 1. Do not use a rear-facing child restraint system on the right front seat protected by a passenger airbag installed in front of that seat.

2. In vehicles with a front passenger airbag, there is a warning label located on the side of the instrument panel to remind you never to install a child restraint device in the front seat that is facing backwards.
