Removal
Warning! When removing the overlay, there is a high probability of breaking its plastic holders, so before starting work, stock up on a sufficient number of new holders.
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the door trim (see "Front door trim - removal and installation").
3. Using pliers, squeeze the tabs of the six plastic door trim holders (the location of the holders is shown on the removed overlay for clarity) (cm. "Front fender trim - removal and installation").
4. Remove the trim from the door.
Installation
We install the cover in the reverse order, replacing the damaged plastic holders with new ones.
