An assistant will be needed to complete the job.
Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the door trim (see "Door trim - removal and installation").
3. Disconnect the wiring harness connectors of the central lock switch (see "Door lock - removal, installation and adjustment"), and the window lift motor-reducer (see "Window lifter - removal and installation").
4. Disconnect the end of the protective corrugated cover of the wiring harness from the door.
5. Remove the wiring harness from the door.
6. Remove the door opening limiter (see "Door opening limiter - removal and installation").
7. The assistant keeps the door from falling.
8. With a socket wrench by 13 mm we unscrew the two door mounting bolts and remove the door.
Installation
Warning: Before installing the limiter, have an assistant hold the door to prevent it from opening too wide and hitting the front fender and body pillar.
1. Install the door and tighten the bolts that secure it (without tightening them).
2. Install the limiter.
3. If there is a lock on the door, remove the lock retainer from the rack so that it does not interfere with adjusting the position of the door in the opening (see "Door lock - removal, installation and adjustment").
4. Close the door and make sure that it is correctly positioned in the opening and that the gaps around its perimeter are uniform.
5. If everything is in order, tighten the hinge mounting bolts, assemble the door and install the lock retainer.
Note: The design of the hinges does not provide for adjustment of the door position, so if the door is crooked in the opening, contact a service station (welding or sheet metal work may be required).
