Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Disconnect the ends of the two wires (1) from the switch terminals. Using an open-end wrench by 19 mm loosen the lock nut of the switch (2).
3. Remove the switch from the brake pedal bracket.
Recommendation: You can check the serviceability of the switch with an ohmmeter. When the button is in the free position, the switch contacts should be closed, and when you press the button
- open. The faulty switch must be replaced.
Installation
We install the brake light switch in the reverse order.

After installing the switch, before connecting the wire connectors, check and, if necessary, adjust the position of the brake pedal (see "Brake pedal free play - adjustment").
Warning! After connecting the wires, make sure that the brake lights come on when the brake pedal is pressed lightly. If not, check the wire connections to the switch terminals or repeat the adjustment.
