Removing
1. We prepare the car for work and disconnect the wire terminal from the negative terminal of the battery (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Having released the lever for adjusting the position of the steering column, we shift the steering wheel down.
3. Remove the instrument panel overlay and, without disconnecting the wiring harness pads from it, take it to the side (see "Dashboard - removal and installation").
4. On both sides of the shield, use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the two screws securing the instrument panel to the instrument panel brackets.
5. We take out the shield from the opening of the instrument panel and disconnect the two pads of the wiring harnesses.
Note: The instrument panel connectors are of different colors, so you do not need to mark the pads.
6. Remove the instrument panel.
Installation
Install the instrument panel in reverse order. We connect the wiring harness blocks to the shield in accordance with their color.
