The electric motor does not require maintenance during operation and is not repairable; in the event of a malfunction, it must be replaced with a new one.
Data for checking the electric motor:
- Rated frequency of rotation of the motor shaft when the motor is loaded with an impeller, min-1…..2500–2800
- Consumed current at the specified load and speed, A, not more than.....14.
To replace the electric motor you will need: socket head «on 10», collar, keys «for 8», «on 10», screwdriver.
1. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «minus» battery.
2. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the mass air flow sensor (see «Removal and installation of the mass air flow sensor»).
3. Disconnect the air filter mounting brackets (see «Removal and installation of the air filter») and take him aside.
4. Turn out two bolts of the top fastening …
5.... and unscrew the two nuts of the lower fastening of the electric fan shroud to the radiator.
6. Disconnect the electric fan wiring harness connector.
7. Turn away two nuts of a pressure plate of a pillow of the top fastening of a radiator and remove a plate.
8. Turn out a bolt of fastening of the arm which is not used on this car …
9.... and remove the bracket, as it interferes with the removal of the electric fan casing.
10. Carefully, so as not to damage the radiator, remove the casing together with the electric fan.
11. To replace the fan motor, unscrew the nut..
12.... and remove the fan impeller from the motor shaft.
13. Remove the pin from the motor shaft.
14. Turn away three nuts of fastening of the electric motor to a casing and remove it.
15. If the fan motor mounting rubber bushings have lost elasticity or are damaged, replace them.
16. Install the fan motor in the reverse order of removal.
