Sockets for control lamps and backlight lamps (shown by arrows) are attached to the instrument cluster mounting plate.
The vehicle is equipped with instrument cluster illumination lamps and control lamps of the AMN 12-3 type. The lamp marking is applied to the lamp base (the marking location is shown by the arrow).

1. Remove the instrument cluster from the vehicle (see subsection 8.6.1).
2. Turn the lamp holder counterclockwise until it stops and...
3....remove the socket with the bulb from the instrument cluster mounting plate.
4. Remove the bulb from the socket by turning it counterclockwise until it stops.
5. Install the new bulb into the instrument cluster in the reverse order of removal. The bulb must be turned clockwise when installed into the socket and the socket must be turned clockwise when installed into the instrument cluster mounting plate. Then install the instrument cluster in the reverse order of removal.
