Disconnect the wire from the "–" terminal of the battery.
To replace the left headlight, remove the spare wheel; to replace the right headlight, move the windshield washer reservoir to the side.
Fastening the headlight to the front of the body (view from under the hood):
1 - headlight mounting nuts
2 and 3 - screws for adjusting the headlight beam in the vertical and horizontal planes (respectively)
1. Disconnect the wiring harness from the low and high beam headlight bulbs.
2. Disconnect the wiring harness from the parking light bulb.
3. Unscrew the four nuts securing the headlight and...
4....remove the ends of the two "ground" wires from one of the lower studs of the headlight.
5. Remove the headlight from the vehicle.
6. Install the headlight in the reverse order of removal. Check and, if necessary, adjust the direction of the headlight beams (see subsection 3.39.).
