1. Remove the brushes with levers.
2. Disconnect the wires from the battery and the windshield wiper motor.
3. Unscrew the nuts securing the lever fittings and remove the equalizers.
4. Loosen the nuts securing the gearmotor bracket and remove the windshield wiper assembly.
5. If necessary, remove the gear motor from the bracket on the workbench and disassemble the lever drive.
6. The windshield wiper is installed in the reverse order of removal.
