Checking the technical condition and repairing the fuel tank (VAZ-2105)
Carefully inspect the joint line on the removed tank to ensure there are no leaks. If necessary, solder the tank with soft solder. Repair minor damage by applying pads. You can only solder a well-washed tank that does not contain gasoline vapors. Rinse the tank with gasoline, then hot water and steam it.
