Data for checking the speedometer
Drive shaft speed, min–1 | Speedometer readings, km/h |
500 | 31– 35 |
1000 | 62 – 66,5 |
1500 | 93 – 98 |
2000 | 124 – 130 |
2500 | 155 – 161,5 |
Coolant temperature gauge
The device operates in conjunction with the TM-106 sensor. With a sensor resistance of 1000–5000 ohms, the arrow should be at the beginning of the scale, with a resistance of 98–110 ohms, at the beginning of the red section (at pointer temperature 200°C).
Fuel gauge
The device is used in tandem with the BM-150 sensor, which is installed in the fuel tank. This sensor also turns on the fuel reserve warning lamp if there are 4–6.5 liters of gasoline left in the tank.
With a sensor resistance of 285–335 ohms, the arrow should be at the beginning of the scale, with a resistance of 100–135 ohms, in the middle of the scale, and with a sensor resistance of 7–25 ohms, it should deviate to the end of the scale (mark "I").
Speedometer
The speedometer type 17.3802 consists of a pointer indicator of the vehicle speed in km/h and a total distance counter in km passed by the vehicle.
Check the speedometer by comparing its performance with the reference. Data for verification are given in tab. Data for checking the speedometer.
Voltmeter
A voltmeter type 12.3812 is installed on the car.
Check the voltmeter by comparing its readings with the control device. The error of voltmeter readings at 12 and 14 V should not exceed +0.7–0.1 V at temperatures up to 20±5°C. Before checking, the voltmeter must be kept at a voltage of 12 V for 2 minutes.
