The tensioner is installed under the outlet pipe of the cooling system jacket.
key «on 10» unscrew the two nuts securing the tensioner to the cylinder head.
Let's take it out...
... and remove the gasket from it.
Clamping the tensioner in a vise with a key «at 13» unscrew the cap nut.
We check the serviceability of the collet clamp. If the clamp foot breaks, we change the cap or tensioner assembly.
We sink the plunger into the tensioner body until it stops and, holding it in this position, tighten the cap nut.
Install the tensioner in the cylinder block (if necessary, replacing a damaged gasket).
Turning the crankshaft clockwise (to stretch the chain), loosen the tightening of the cap nut - «unloading» tensioner - and tighten the nut again.
