We wrap one of the gearbox mounting bolts in place.
Leaning on it, with a mounting spatula or a large screwdriver, we keep the flywheel from turning. Key, but better head «at 17» Loosen the six flywheel bolts.
Let's take the puck...
...and the flywheel from the crankshaft.
key «on 10» unscrew the two nuts securing the clutch housing shield...
...and remove the shield.
Pry off the cuff with a screwdriver...
...and take it off.
Press in new cuff (see Replacing the front crankshaft seal).
In this case, there is a risk of damaging the cuff seat and the crankshaft, therefore, to replace the cuff, it is better to remove the cuff holder, for which...
...the key «on 10» unscrew the two bolts securing the oil pan to the cuff holder...
... and six bolts securing the cuff holder to the cylinder block.
Screwdriver pry...
...and remove the holder.
A sealing gasket is installed between the holder and the block.
Use a screwdriver to knock out the cuff through the cutout in the holder.
We press in a new one in its place, using the old cuff as a mandrel (see Replacing the front crankshaft seal).
We install the holder in the reverse order.
