Antenna installation 1579.03
Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery. Drill a 14-mm diameter hole in the left wing of the car+0,18 mm at a distance of 322 mm from the vertical plane passing through the front wheel axis and 82 mm from the outer surface of the wing (figure 157). Cover the edges of the hole with an anti-corrosion compound or enamel.

Remove nut 2, equalizing head 3 and gasket 4 from the antenna. Spring washer 5 remains on the antenna, as it should be located under the wing. Put bushing 8 on the lower end of the antenna body. From the inside of the wing, insert the upper end of the antenna into the drilled hole, first passing it through the hole in the bracket on the left wheel mudguard.
Install gasket 4, equalizing head 3 and secure the antenna with a nut. Move bushing 8 up the antenna body and insert it into the mudguard bracket hole.
Remove the plug from the left wheel mudguard, put seal 7 on the antenna cable and run the antenna cable into the car interior. Lubricate seal 7 and the edges of the hole in the mudguard with mastic type 51G7 and insert the seal into the mudguard hole. Run the antenna cable along the instrument panel wire harness and attach it to it with clamps.
The antenna is removed in the reverse order.
Installing loudspeakers
Remove the speaker covers on the rear trim, install and secure the speakers with self-tapping screws, and then install the trims in place. Remove the left floor threshold trim, the lower trim of the rear pillars, the left front seat belt trim, and unscrew the belt fastening bolt to the body floor.
Bend back the left edges of the floor and trunk mats. Run the wires from the radio installation site to the speakers along the instrument panel wiring harness and the rear wiring harness along the body floor. Secure the wires to the body floor every 500 mm with adhesive tape. Connect the wires to the speakers.
Removing the speakers is done in reverse order.
Installing a radio receiver
Remove the small item box from the instrument panel console and install the radio receiver in the vacated slot, following the instructions for the radio receiver. Attach the radio power cable to the instrument panel harness with adhesive tape and connect it to the "INT" terminal of the ignition switch. Attach the body cable to the body with the heater mounting nut.
