If your car is being towed with a non-working engine, turn the ignition key to position 0 and leave it in place. With the engine off, you will have to brake harder because the brake booster is not working. If the engine is working, start it so that the brake booster and heater work and the battery does not discharge. Watch the signals of the towing vehicle. Try to keep the rope taut at all times when braking the car.
If you need to tow another vehicle, the speed of movement should be smooth, without sudden acceleration, braking and turns. Keep to the right lane and do not change lanes unless necessary. Acceleration from a standstill should also be smooth. Turn on the turn signals in advance. Do not exceed the towing speed specified in the Road Traffic Regulations.
Caution! Attach the towing rope only to the special eyes.
Attention! Turn on the light signaling according to the Road Traffic Regulations.
