Place the car on a level surface and place blocks under the wheel diagonally opposite the car. If you are changing a front wheel, apply the parking brake.
Caution! Loosen the wheel mounting bolts and tighten them only when the vehicle is parked on the ground.
Caution! Do not lubricate the wheel bolts - this may cause them to loosen while driving.
1. Open the tailgate and fold back the boot mat.
2. Loosen the mounting screw and remove the spare wheel.
3. Use a lug wrench to loosen the wheel bolts. This may require a lot of force.
4. Install the jack and raise the car (see subsection 2.26.).
5. Completely unscrew the mounting bolts and remove the wheel.
6. Place the spare tire on the mounting pins. Tighten the mounting bolts without tightening them completely.
7. Lower the vehicle to the ground and tighten the bolts evenly and diagonally.
8.Use a pressure gauge to check the tire pressure and, if necessary, inflate the wheel to the norm. If you changed the wheel on the road, do not forget to put the old wheel and tools in the trunk.
