To carry out repair work you will need a piece of wire with a diameter of 1-1.5 mm (or a large paper clip).
It is more convenient to clean the drainage holes in the thresholds in an inspection pit or overpass.
Sequence of execution
1. Prepare the car for repair work.
2. After opening the door, inject penetrating lubricant into the hinge joints. Lubricate the hinges of the other doors of the car in the same way...

...keyholes for door locks and trunk lid.

3. Apply plastic lubricant to the working surface of the door stops...

...the spring and hinge of the fuel tank filler flap.

Note. To remove moisture from the internal cavities, there are eight drainage holes in the lower part of the front doors, and six in the rear doors. There are five drainage holes in the threshold pads, and four in the thresholds. Depending on the year of manufacture of the car, the number of drainage holes may be different.
