Helpful Hint: The trunk lid trim retaining clips can be removed using two slotted screwdrivers, but the job can be made much easier with a special tool.
Removal
1. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the screws that secure the trim to the lid (one screw is located at the top of the trim on the left pillar, the rest are at the bottom of the trim).
2. Using a puller or a slotted screwdriver, remove the buttons of the four holders of the upper trim fastening, and then the holders themselves.

3. With a slotted screwdriver (putting a cloth underneath it) we pry up the lower part of the lid trim and remove the trim.
Installation
We install the trim and all previously removed parts on the car in the reverse order, replacing the damaged holders.
