Removal
1. Remove the inner lining of the trunk lid.
2. Lift the protective cover of the windshield wiper arm mounting nut and use a 10 mm open-end wrench to loosen the nut a few turns.
3. Using sliding pliers, press the wiper arm off the shaft splines.
4. After unscrewing the nut, remove the windshield wiper arm from the shaft.
5. Disconnect the wire connector from the windshield wiper motor-reducer.

6. Using a 10 mm deep-head socket wrench, unscrew the three nuts securing the motor-reducer bracket and remove it from the trunk lid, carefully removing the motor-reducer shaft from the glass opening.
Installation
We install the windshield wiper motor-reducer and all previously removed parts on the car in the reverse order.
