Removing
1. We prepare the car for repair work.
2. On the inside of the cover, use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the screw of the right spoiler mount.
3. Similarly, unscrew the spoiler mounting screw on the left side of the cover.
4. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the four spoiler mounting screws (two on top and two on the back).
5. Lifting the front part of the spoiler, remove it from the car.
Note. The front part of the spoiler is fixed to the cover with adhesive tape (1). If necessary, the tape can be carefully cut with a knife. The rear of the spoiler is held on by three lugs (2), that engage with the base of the spoiler.
6. Disconnect the wire connectors of the additional brake light.
7. Disconnect the tube from the washer nozzle.
Helpful advice. To make it easier to pick up the handset in cold weather, it can be warmed up with an industrial hair dryer or hot water.
8. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the four screws securing the spoiler base.
9. Remove the spoiler base from the trunk lid.
Installation
We install the spoiler on the car and all the parts removed earlier in the reverse order. At the same time, the damaged adhesive tape is removed and a new one is pasted.
Helpful advice. Sealant can be applied to damaged areas of the tape.
