
1 - coolant temperature gauge. The red zone on the gauge scale indicates engine overheating. When the pointer moves into this zone, stop the car, turn off the engine and check the cooling system (see 8.2.1).
2 - tachometer. Shows the crankshaft speed.
Warning! It is not permissible to increase the crankshaft speed to values located in the red sector of the scale.
3 - left turn signal indicator lamp. Lights up when the left turn signal is turned on.
4 - right turn signal indicator lamp. Lights up when the right turn signal is turned on.
5 - speedometer. Shows the actual speed of the vehicle.
6 - fuel level indicator in the fuel tank. To determine the amount of fuel in the tank, there are marks on the instrument scale:
- 0 - empty tank;
- 1/2 - half a tank;
- 1 - full tank).
7 - Fuel reserve indicator lamp lights up if there is less than 9.5 liters of fuel left in the tank.
Warning: To avoid damage to the fuel pump, do not allow the fuel tank to run dry.
8 - control lamp for switching on external lighting. Lights up when the external lighting is turned on using the corresponding switch (see 2.1, pos. 6).
9 - low brake fluid level indicator lamp. Lights up if the brake fluid level in the master cylinder reservoir is below the minimum permissible level. Driving with the lamp on is prohibited.
10 - high beam indicator lamp. Lights up when the headlights are switched from low to high beam.
11 - button for resetting the daily mileage counter. To reset the meter readings, you must press the button.
12 - odometer display. The top numbers show the total mileage of the car, and the bottom numbers show the daily mileage.
13 - hazard warning light indicator. Lights up when the hazard warning lights are on.
14 - Engine management system malfunction indicator lamp. The lamp lights up when a malfunction occurs in the engine management system.
15 - battery charge indicator lamp. Lights up when the vehicle's electrical equipment starts to operate from the battery.
[When the battery charge indicator light comes on, you must first check the condition of the electrical wires, and then the serviceability of the generator.]
16 - parking brake indicator lamp. Lights up when the parking brake is applied.
17 - oil pressure warning lamp. Lights up if the oil pressure in the engine lubrication system drops below normal.
Warning! Do not operate the engine with the oil pressure warning light on.
When the lamp lights up, turn off the engine and check the oil level in the engine crankcase. If the level is normal, the engine may be faulty.
18 - reserve (for cars with airbag).
