Note: Some vehicles are equipped with electrically operated side rearview mirrors. When removing these mirrors, disconnect the electrically operated wire connectors.
Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Using a thin slotted screwdriver, remove the plug from the mirror control handle.
3. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the handle mounting screw.
4. Remove the handle.
5. Using a slotted screwdriver with a wide blade, remove the decorative mirror cover.
6. Holding the mirror from the outside, use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the three screws securing the mirror.
7. Remove the mirror from the door.
Installation
We install the mirror in reverse order.
