To carry out the work, an inspection pit or overpass is required.
Note: The engine mudguard is secured at the front with five nuts (1), at the sides with four screws (2) and at the rear with two bolts (3).

Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. With a socket wrench by 10 mm using a deep-head socket, unscrew the five self-locking nuts (1) of the front mudguard mount.
3. With a socket wrench by 8 mm unscrew the four screws (2) securing the mudguard to the mudguards of the engine compartment.
4. With a socket wrench by 10 mm unscrew the two bolts (3) of the rear mudguard mount.
5. Disengage the mudguard from the mudguards and remove it from the vehicle.
Installation
We install the engine mudguard in the reverse order.
