Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the radiator grille (see "Radiator grille - removal and installation").
3. To make it easier to disconnect the hood lock cable, remove the horn (see "Sound signal - removal and installation").
4. With a socket wrench by 10 mm we unscrew the two bolts securing the hood lock.

Warning! To avoid injury, perform the following operation carefully - the radiator fins have sharp edges.
5. Use pliers to straighten the end of the lock drive rod. Move the locking sleeve from the end of the rod and disconnect the rod from the lock lever.

6. Remove the hood lock.
7. To remove the hood safety hook, use a socket wrench by 10 mm we unscrew the two bolts securing the hook bracket and remove the hook.

Installation
We install the lock in the reverse order. Before installing the radiator grille, adjust the hood lock (see below).
Adjustment
The holes for the hood lock mounting bolts are large and oval-shaped, which allows you to change the position of the hood lock. To adjust, loosen the two lock mounting bolts. Adjust the lock: make sure that when you close the hood, the lock retainer (welded to the hood) entered the groove of the lock without touching the edges of the groove.
