Removal
1. Remove the heater (see "Interior heater - removal and installation").
2. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the four screws securing the air filter grille of the cabin ventilation system and remove the grille.
3. Disconnect the air supply hose that cools the fan electric motor. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the three screws that secure the fan electric motor flange to the heater housing.
4. Remove the electric fan from the heater housing.

Warning! The fan motor rotor and fan impeller are balanced as an assembly during manufacturing, so it is not recommended to remove the impeller from the shaft.
Recommendation. The fan impeller should rotate easily with a light push of a finger. You can check the serviceability of the fan electric motor by applying 12 V from the battery to the terminals of its block. A faulty electric fan must be replaced.
Installation
We install the electric fan and the heater itself in the reverse order.
