To complete the work you will need:
- ball joint pin extractor;
- car stand.
Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the front wheel of the car (see "Wheel - replacement").
3. With a socket wrench by 19 mm we unscrew the ball joint pin nut.

4. With a socket wrench by 17 mm we unscrew the two bolts securing the ball joint to the steering knuckle.

5. Install the puller on the end of the lever.
6. Tighten the puller bolt with an open-end wrench by 17 mm, press the ball joint pin out of the lever hole and remove the ball joint.

Installation
1. Apply lubricant (SHRB-4, Litol-24 or similar) on the ball end of the pin.

2. Place the lubricant into the inner cavity of the protective cover.

3. Assemble and install the ball joint in the reverse order.
