The generator drive is made by a poly V-belt from the crankshaft pulley. The generator is attached to the engine on two brackets. The upper bracket with a tension bar allows you to adjust the tension of the generator drive belt.
The stator and generator covers are tightened with four bolts. The stator has a three-phase winding connected in a "star". Ring tips are soldered to the winding terminals. The generator winding 3202.3771 has an additional (fourth) terminal made from the zero point of the "star". This allowed increasing the maximum output current of the generator to 90 A.

The rotor contains an excitation winding, the terminals of which are soldered to two contact rings. The generator rotor shaft rotates on two ball bearings. The front bearing is rolled into the front cover of the generator, and the rear bearing is pressed onto the rotor shaft and pressed by the rear cover of the generator. On the outside of the rear cover of the generator (under the plastic casing) a rectifier unit, a voltage regulator with a brush assembly and a capacitor are installed.
The rectifier block is assembled on six diodes (or eight, for generator 3202.3771), connected by two aluminum horseshoe-shaped plates. Three additional diodes are installed on the plastic holder of the rectifier block, through which voltage is supplied to the rotor excitation winding.
