Installation
We install the lock and all previously removed parts on the car in the reverse order.
Adjustment
Having loosened the bolts that secure the lock retainer, we move it from side to side and find a position in which the middle of the retainer loop fits exactly into the slot in the lock, after which we tighten the bolts that secure the retainer.
We adjust the tightness of the trunk lid closing by moving the lock within its mounting holes.
