It is recommended to replace a faulty pressure regulator as an assembly.
1. Disconnect the elastic pressure regulator lever from the rear suspension beam. To do this, remove the retaining ring and washer. Then remove the earring from the rear suspension arm pin.

2. Disconnect the brake pipes from the pressure regulator by unscrewing the union nuts. Plug the holes in the brake pipes. Mark the pipes so as not to mix them up when installing the regulator later.

3. Unscrew the two nuts securing the bracket to the body and remove the pressure regulator assembly with the bracket and drive.

4. If it is necessary to replace the drive parts, unscrew the locking lever mounting bolt and disconnect the drive lever from the elastic lever.

5. When connecting the drive lever to the elastic lever, the locking fork must enter the groove on the elastic lever.

6. Install the regulator in the reverse order of removal.
7. After installing the regulator, use pliers to tighten the earring clip.
8. Remove air from the hydraulic brake system (see "Bleeding the brake system") and adjust the pressure regulator drive (see
"Adjusting the pressure regulator drive").
