1. Metal pipelines should not be nicked, scratched, scuffed, active corrosion centers and should be located away from sharp edges that can damage them.
2. The brake hose must be elastic, without tears or cracks. The hose must be firmly embedded in the ferrules. The threads of the hose ends must not be damaged. If the hose swells when you press the brake pedal, then the cords are broken. If any of these defects are found, the hose must be replaced. Mineral oils and greases that dissolve rubber should not get on the hoses.
3. All piping brackets must be intact and well secured. Loose fastening or destruction of the brackets leads to vibration of the pipelines and, as a result, to their breakage.
4. No leakage of fluid from the connections of the master cylinder with the tank and pipelines is allowed, if necessary, replace the tank bushings and tighten the nuts without exposing the pipelines to deformation.
Helpful advice. It is recommended to use a special wrench for the brake pipe nuts.
If faults are found, replace damaged parts with new ones.
Flexible hoses, regardless of their condition, should be replaced with new ones after 125,000 km or five years of vehicle operation to prevent sudden ruptures due to aging.
