Safety regulations
Exhaust gases are toxic! If it is necessary to start the engine in a garage or other area, ensure good ventilation or be sure to open the gate.
When starting repair or maintenance of electrical equipment, be sure to first disconnect the wire from the terminal "—" battery.
When coasting, do not turn off the ignition - the anti-theft device in the ignition lock may work, blocking the steering column shaft. Your car may become uncontrollable!
Leaded gasoline, antifreeze and antifreeze are toxic, so be careful when filling your vehicle with technical fluids.
If a catalytic converter is installed in the exhaust system, please note that when the engine is running, it heats up to temperatures above 600°C. Therefore, in order to avoid a fire when parking, make sure that there is no dry grass or combustible materials under the bottom of the car.
It is forbidden to operate the car with a burning emergency oil pressure lamp: it should briefly (no more than 2 s) light up only when the engine is started.
It is forbidden to work under a vehicle raised with a jack. Be sure to place supports under the body.
Do not smoke or use open flames when refueling or servicing the vehicle.
It is forbidden to check the operation of the generator by disconnecting the wires from the battery, as well as the operability of the ignition system "for a spark".
When lifting the vehicle with a jack, be sure to apply the parking brake and place suitable stops under the wheels on the opposite side.
Operating recommendations
Maintenance and repair of the car during the warranty period must be carried out only at service stations with a mandatory note on the work in the service book coupons, otherwise you will lose the warranty for the car.
Warm up the engine at idle before driving, as running a cold engine at high speeds will shorten its life.
When the starter is engaged, the gearshift lever must be in the neutral position.
Move off only in first gear.
Do not exceed the carrying capacity specified in the technical characteristics of the car: overloading leads to increased wear of tires and suspension parts, as well as loss of directional stability.
Regularly check the air pressure in the tires: low pressure leads to intensive tire wear. A tire pressure difference of 0.2-0.3 atm leads to a deterioration in vehicle handling.
Vehicles equipped with catalytic converters must not be filled with leaded gasoline. This will lead to a quick failure of the converter.
Regularly check the condition of the protective covers of the steering rack, constant velocity joints (SHRUS), ball bearings, steering rod joints. Damaged covers must be replaced, as water and dirt will quickly disable the mechanisms.
For refueling, use fuels and lubricants and operating fluids recommended by the manufacturer.
Regularly check the condition of the battery terminals and the fastening of the wires on them. Loose fastening or oxidation of the terminals can damage the electronic devices of the car.
