Replacing the hood lock drive rod (VAZ-11113)

You will need:

• key "10"
• screwdriver

Remove the hood lock (see subsection 9.5.2.).



1. Loosen the hood lock handle mounting bolt and remove the handle from the body bracket.



2. Slide the traction lock.



3. Bend back the drive rod and remove the hood lock drive handle.



4. Straighten the rod and remove the retainer from it.

5. Remove the rod from the casing by the tip and...



6.... remove the rod housing from the hole in the front panel. Install the hood lock drive rod in the reverse order of removal. Adjust the position of the hood lock.
