Replacing windshield wipers and cleaning washer jets (VAZ-11113)

Make sure that the rubber inserts of the brushes do not jump out of the holders, otherwise the windshield wiper will scratch the glass. Before turning on the windshield wiper, wet the glass with washer fluid (if it is dry), otherwise the brushes will scratch the glass.

If there are uncleaned areas, streaks or gaps left on the glass when the windshield wiper is in operation, replace the brushes or rubber inserts.

You can replace the rubber inserts of the brushes yourself. The replacement instructions are included with the rubber inserts kit by the manufacturer.



Clean dirty brushes with a damp cloth.

The rear door wiper blade is replaced in the same way as the windshield wiper blade.

Cleaning the rear door window washer jet is carried out in the same way as the front jets.



1. Move the arm with the brush away from the glass. Press the latch so that the locking lug on the arm comes out of the hole in the latch and...

3. The washer jets are located on the surface of the car's hood.



4. No water supply (antifreeze) on the glass may be caused by clogged washer nozzle sprayers. Clean the nozzle sprayer hole with a needle or thin wire. Adjust the direction of fluid supply to the glass by turning the nozzle with a needle or thin wire.
