Before starting work, park the car on a level surface and place wheel chocks under the wheels. If you are changing a front wheel, apply the parking brake.
Caution! Loosen the wheel mounting bolts and tighten them only when the vehicle is parked on the ground. Do not lubricate the mounting bolts - this may cause them to loosen while driving.
Attention! To feel the required tightening force of the wheel mounting bolts, use a torque wrench at first (the tightening torque see in appendix).
Attention! If you have changed a wheel on the road, do not forget to put the removed wheel and tools in the trunk.
1. Open the hood and unfasten the elastic strap securing the spare wheel.
2. Loosen the spare wheel mounting screw and remove it with the washer.

3. Remove the spare tire.
4. Use a lug wrench to loosen the wheel nuts. This may require a lot of force.
5. Install the jack and raise the vehicle. Install the support stand (see subsection 2.17.).
6. Completely unscrew the wheel mounting nuts and remove the wheel.
7. Install the spare tire. Tighten the mounting nuts without tightening them completely. Lower the car and tighten the mounting nuts evenly.
8. Check the tire pressure and adjust it to the correct level if necessary.
