Removed instrument cluster
1 – holder
The arrows show the indicator lamp sockets and the instrument cluster illumination lamp (middle top).
1. Carefully remove the radio socket cover on the instrument panel using a screwdriver, or remove the left deflector of the interior heating system using a wire hook or a screwdriver.
2. Bend back the right spring holder 1 and push the instrument cluster out of its socket. If the right holder is damaged, bend back the left one, which can be reached by hand from under the instrument panel when the fuse box is removed.
3. Disconnect the wiring harness plugs and the speedometer drive flexible shaft from the instrument cluster, after first unscrewing the flexible shaft mounting nut.
4. Install the instrument cluster in reverse order.
Attention! When removing the instrument cluster, pay attention to how the flexible shaft of the speedometer drive was routed, and when installing the instrument cluster, position the flexible shaft along the previous route, avoiding bends with a radius of less than 100 mm.
