Removal
1. Prepare the vehicle for operations (see "Preparing a car for maintenance and repair").
2. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery (see "Battery - Removal and Installation").
3. Remove the right trim of the luggage compartment (see "Rear bumper - removal and installation").
4. Using a screwdriver, press the casing of the filler neck of the tank and remove it from engagement with the protrusions on the neck.
5. Remove the casing from the neck.
6. Disconnect the wire tips from the electric pump terminals. The pink and black wire is connected to the side (positive) output, black - to the central (negative) conclusion.
7. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the two screws securing the tank bracket. Remove the bracket and tank.
8. Remove the electric pump from the rubber seal in the tank.
The sealing ring must be elastic and not have any cracks; if necessary, pry it off with a slotted screwdriver and replace it.
Installation
Installation of all removed parts is carried out in reverse order.
