Checking the fluid level in the windshield washer reservoir (VAZ-1111)

The windshield washer reservoir is located in the right front part of the engine compartment.

You will need: In summer - clean water, in winter - antifreeze.

Recommendation: Use antifreeze liquids from well-known companies or liquids recommended by the manufacturer (see appendix 2).


Warnings:
  • Take precautions when handling antifreeze.
  • Always make sure that the washer reservoir has sufficient fluid level. Do not turn on the washer if the fluid level drops below the pump intake opening inside the reservoir - the washer pump electric motor may fail.
