Removal
1. Prepare the vehicle for operations (see "Preparing a car for maintenance and repair").
2. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery (see "Battery - Removal and Installation").
3. Lift the protective cover with the key by 10 mm unscrew the nut securing the brush lever.

4. Remove the lever from the splines of the gear motor shaft. If removal is difficult, apply penetrating lubricant to the splined surface of the shaft.

5. Remove the protective cap from the shaft.

6. Key by 24 mm we unscrew the nut, remove the washer and rubber gasket from the shaft.

7. Remove the trim of the luggage compartment door (see "Tailgate - Removal and Installation").
8. Using a slotted screwdriver, remove the two brackets securing the gearbox cover (the photo shows one bracket).

9. Remove the gearbox cover, disengaging the lower stops from engagement with the inner door panel.

10. Disconnect the motor-reducer wiring harness connector.

11. With a socket wrench by 8 mm we unscrew the two nuts securing the gear motor to the inner panel of the luggage compartment door.

12. Remove the gear motor from the studs.

Installation
Installation of all removed parts is performed in the reverse order. Before installing the windshield wiper arm, apply plastic grease to the splined and threaded parts of the shaft.
