Installing the clutch and its drive (VAZ-2105)

Install the clutch on the engine flywheel in the reverse order of removal. Before installation, check the condition of the bearing at the end of the crankshaft. Replace it if necessary. Then lubricate the splines in the driven disk hub and on the primary shaft of the gearbox with a thin layer of LSC-15 or Litol-24 grease. Install the driven disk with the protruding part towards the gearbox and, before fastening the leading part of the clutch, center the driven disk with the A.70081* mandrel, which imitates the end of the primary shaft of the gearbox. Therefore, you can use the rejected primary shaft of the gearbox instead.

* Step mandrel with a centering shank diameter of 15 mm and a length of 60 mm. The diameter under the driven disk hub is 20 mm.

Install the master and slave cylinders of the clutch drive in the reverse order of removal. After connecting the pipes, check the drive for leaks, and then adjust and bleed it as described below.
