First of all, drain the fluid from the hydraulic drive, for which put one end of the hose on fitting 9 (see fig. 112) working cylinder, and lower the other into a vessel with brake fluid. Loosen the fitting 1/2-3/4 turn and depress the clutch pedal until the fluid is removed from the clutch actuator. Then disconnect the tube and hose connecting the main and working cylinders, the release spring 7, remove the cotter pin from the end of the pusher 4 and remove the working cylinder.
To remove the master cylinder, unscrew the two nuts that secure it on the studs to the bracket 11 (see fig. 111) pedals, and disconnect the flexible hose coming from the tank.
Then remove the clutch itself. To do this, remove the gearbox (see section «Transmission») assembled with the clutch housing, after which, having unscrewed the bolts 8 (see fig. 110), remove the clutch drive and driven plate assembly from the flywheel. When removing, do not lift the clutch by the thrust flange of the pressure spring, so as not to damage the connecting plates. Then blow out the pressure and clutch discs with compressed air.
